MIrabelle Gardens & Mozart

Mirabelle Gardens...think do a deer, a female deer, ray, a drop of golden sun...
It's where the filmed the VonTrapp kids singing this song, skipping down the trees, running around the fountain and bouncing up the steps.  Of course, we had to reenact all of these and take some pictures.








Believe it or not, Salzburg is known for more than just the Sound of Music. It was a town built on the fortunes of the Salt Mines. Salz = Salt. It is also known for the Salzburg music festival, but even more famous for the fact that Mozart was born in Salzburg. We took time to visit his museum, see his piano and his guitar.  Like most historic places, we could not take pictures inside so had to settle for a photo op in front of his statue.
