Texas Perspective

Major European Cities On A Map Of Texas

We travel, ALOT. We are taking advantage of how close things are and how inexpensive plane tickets are.  We did not travel like this when we lived in Texas.  I think part of it is that we had responsibilities and activities that tied up most of our weekends. Part of it was that plane tickets in the states were expensive, especially when you multiply that by 5.  Here, everything is seemingly close. When a friend of mine posted this on facebook, it confirmed what we are feeling about proximity. London is in West Texas and you can see on a map how many European cities fit on the map!  Wow!

We have seen Amsterdam, Milan, Munich and Paris, Prague and Zurich are on the list to see as well.  Even though we are doing countries, it's no more than a short drive for a Texan!
